This page's goal is to give a quick summary of all the important, fundamental bits of Sevenfold lore — a rundown of the general vibe and what to expect, a brief look at the history, how magic works, a handful of important terms to know, all that good stuff. This page is probably gonna be a perpetual WIP; I fully expect and intend to add more stuff here as I fill the site out.

So what's this thing's whole deal? Like, what is it about?

Enter the Sevenfold is a worldbuilding project I've been tossing around in my head since 2017-ish at least, but have only just now started writing stuff down for. It is not just one story, but a collection of stories all happening in their own little corners. Think of it like DC or Marvel — an overarching universe, but with several storylines happening at any one time.

The overall "genre" is science fantasy, leaning more towards fantasy, with a heaping amount of anime bullshit on top. It's about reckless idealism and boundless optimism, about going through horrific shit and the long recovery afterwards. It's about finding your place in the world and unlocking the power of friendship (both in the "making friends" way and in the "firing a magic laser at you" way). It's about finding the space to be you.
